Description
Revo HTA (High Temperature Abrasive) nozzles are built for printing abrasive engineering filaments at temperatures up to 500°C. Compatible with all Revo HotEnds and coldsides, they bring hardened, coated wear resistance to high-temperature materials that standard nozzles can't handle.
Built for heat and abrasion
Much like ObXidian, HTA nozzles have a hardened steel tip, with a copper carrier and copper spreader segment to optimise the transmission of heat to the heatsink. The nozzle is then coated with Chromium Nitride to provide additional abrasion resistance, corrosion prevention and non-stick properties for printing up to 500°C.
Frustration-free
Each Revo Nozzle is a preassembled nozzle and HeatBreak in one unit, so there's no hazardous hot tightening and no chance of incorrect assembly. Say goodbye to frustrating HotEnd leaks and enjoy reliable 3D printing!
Rapid identification
HTA nozzles are grey in colour and have their sizes engraved into them with easy-to-read numbers, so there are no confusing identification markers to learn.
Building a new Revo setup? These nozzles pair with any of our Revo coldsides, such as the Revo Six Coldside, together with a Revo Starter Hotside Pack.
Please note
- While HTA nozzles can be used with 40W and 60W Revo HeaterCores, they will be temperature limited to 300°C. Printing up to 500°C requires E3D's Revo High Temperature hotside hardware.
- Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry-standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk of a jam. Check your filament manufacturer's datasheet for the recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure the nozzle you choose suits your use case.
- HTA coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles, but some 'exotic' engineering filaments with aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker's PolyMide range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF), can still cause significant wear even on HTA nozzles under extreme material conditions.
